Lindfield Learning Village is a school for now and the future, developed by a group of educators, architects and others. Highly innovative ideas are being explored which place the needs of the learner and learning at the centre of the educational model.
Poet Emily Crocker leads a series of The Disappearing workshops with Stage 1 learners from Lindfield Learning Village.
Emily Crocker is a performing poet, now based in Sydney, who came of age in Wollongong’s spoken word scene, while studying at the University of Wollongong. Her debut chapbook Girls and Buoyant was released by Subbed In in 2017. Other poems can be found in the recent anthology of spoken word, Solid Air (UQP, 2019), and in Australian journals including Cordite, Verity La, Southerly, and Baby Teeth.
