The School

Oxley College is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational K – 12 day school founded in 1983 in Bowral. Oxley students have access to an intimate and caring school that is recognised as a school of choice for excellence in education from Kindergarten to Year 12.  Academic learning is at the very heart of Oxley as a learning community, by encouraging students to be intellectually curious, strong and independent thinkers. The Oxley College staff are dedicated, capable and focused on achieving quality learning outcomes for each student.

The Project

Over two workshops in March, poets Lorna Munro and Kaveh Arya shared their poetic chops with students at Oxley College. With poetry writing activities inspired by The Disappearing learning resource, Lorna and Kaveh ignited new poetic possibilities for more than 300 students.
