Elliot York Cameron is a poet and educator from Western Sydney, a NSW Poetry Slam finalist and a two-time Bankstown Grand Slam finalist. He is currently the Program & Education Officer for Word Travels and a co-organiser of Enough Said Poetry Slam in Wollongong. In 2018, Elliot founded Narellan Poetry Slam, which he hosts monthly at Harry Hartog Booksellers. He has featured his work at Sydney Writers' Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Wollongong Writers Festival, Viva La Gong, Granville Poetry Slam, Poetica, BAD!SLAM!NO!BISCUIT!, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Unspoken Words Storytelling Festival and National Young Writers' Festival. His poem 'Wildfire and Sequoia' was included in Enough Said Poetry Slam's 2017 Anthology, and six poems were featured as ‘The New Ideation Suite’ in Baby Teeth Journal's August 2018 publication.
