Tayi  Tibble

Tayi Tibble (Te Whanau a Apanui/Ngati Porou) won the Jessie Mackay Best First Book of Poetry Award at the 2019 Ockham NZ Book Awards for Poūkahangatus. She was the 2017 recipient of the Adam Foundation Prize for best manuscript, and guest editor of the 2019 issue of literary journal Sport. Her work explores themes of indigeneity and agency.

In 2020, Tayi comes on board as one of the judges for Poetry Object New Zealand.
