Stetayesh (Seti) Golshani, a 14-year-old Iranian refugee, arrived on Christmas Island with her parents seeking sanctuary in Australia at the age of 3. By 4, she was forcibly moved to Nauru, reportedly one of the few minors under 5 on the island then. After a year, they were transferred to Darwin, and in 2015, they relocated to Brisbane for medical treatment. Seti began her schooling in Australia and has excelled in Taekwondo since 2016, receiving numerous awards. However, due to her visa conditions, she is barred from leaving the country to participate in international Taekwondo competitions.
