Pointe Shoes

A brick’s in my shoe, in my shoe.
A pain’s in my feet, in my feet.
A tingle fires me up, onto pointe.
Oh, here we go, on the stage.
Jumping here and there, the audience stares.
Then they drop their mouths, and start to clap.
