Protect This Land

The soft, silky sand

 makes you want to protect this land,

The sound of the beautiful blue birds sing 

lets you know for sure that it is spring,

This is a great place to relax

 and just to sit down and have some snacks,

The cold water running down the streams

 always looks pretty as it sparkles and gleams,

don’t you want to save a shark

if you don’t pollution will make its mark,

This land is falling apart

and if we don’t save it, we will all have to restart.
