Steaming in, ball in hand
Ready to jump and bowl
This weapon was about to come down the pitch
To destroy stumps and all

Trembling in their boots
Scared as dogs in a storm
They didn’t want the onslaught to continue
Bye Bye they were out

Batsmen rattled, stumps flying
Celebrations galore
Five wickets are what I took
And I couldn’t ask for more

Friends and family were there to see
My greatest bowling ever
The Beast they called me
For many days to come

Now sitting on display two years on
The ball in its own cup
Glory shinning off
The best memory I’ve had.
