Bronwyn Lea is the Series Editor of UQP's annual Best Australian Poetry anthology with Martin Duwell. She is also the author of Flight Animals which won the Wesley Michel Wright Prize for Poetry, the Fellowship of Australian Writers Anne Elder Award, and was shortlisted for a number of other prizes. Her other works include The Wooden Cat and Other Poems and The Other Way Out. She is currently the Poetry Editor at the University of Queensland Press and lectures in Poetics at the University of Queensland, where she completed her PhD. She was a member of the Literature Board of the Australia Council from 2005-2008.
