Red Room Poetry's vision is to make poetry in meaningful ways. As Australia’s leading organisation for the commissioning and creation of poetry, we aim to make poetry highly visible, vibrant, relevant and accessible, especially to those who face the greatest barriers to creative opportunities.
We commission emerging and estasblished poets as well as providing opportunities for students to publish poetry. Our strong history of digital and experimental work has led to the publication of a huge digital library featuring 30,000+ contemporary Australian poems. This freely accessible library includes written, spoken, video and experimental works, and grows exponentially every year.
