Book now for one of a series of creative writing workshops at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, taking place at 6pm on the four Wednesdays in January as part of Art After Hours.

In these group workshops, you’ll be guided by acclaimed poets Lucy Norton and Sara Mansour in crafting poetic responses to the exhibition Louise Bourgeois: Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day?, which is on display in the North Building.

Learn to weave words and bend poetic techniques as you explore the themes in the work of Louise Bourgeois, one of the most influential artists of the past century, through a literary lens.

At the end of the month, there will be an opportunity to read your work and listen to the workshop poets perform their commissioned poems in response to the exhibition.
