as ambiguous sinew stretches out and over
in that frenetic gesture of human autonomy
 
Static passages cascade above the bather
as patterns shift to caress bronzed barrier
delicately cloistered and pinned somewhere
in the spiralling surrounds of domesticity,
how imperfect architecture holds up a home
