Angie Hart
Singer-songwriter Angie Hart rose to fame with the ARIA award winning alt-pop band Frente, who sold more than a million records worldwide, touring internationally through the 90s with Crowded House, Alanis Morissette, Everything But The Girl, Violent Femmes, They Might Be Giants, and Beautiful South.
Post-Frente, Angie performed/wrote with artists ranging from Anna Waronker (That Dog) to Shelly Peiken (Christina Aguilera) and collaborated with cult screenwriter/director Joss Whedon, writing songs for and appearing in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Angie released Grounded Bird in 2007, ARIA- nominated album Eat My Shadow in 2009, and Loving Hating It in 2010. A regular guest on 3RRR Radio’s JVG Radio Method, Angie has performed her spoken word at Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Spiegeltent, read her poems for Radio 774 and ABC Melbourne, and been published in the Women Of Letters collections, A Song For The Road, Going Down Swinging, Lifted Brow, Ampersand magazine.
