Charlee Brooks is a poet, writer, and literary critic based in Melbourne. His work explores themes of identity, tenderness, memory, and queer intimacy, often drawing from personal experience and the stories that live at the margins. He is the founder of Grandpa’s Book Club, a digital reading community that curates contemporary and queer literature through reviews, essays, and conversation. Charlee’s writing has been featured across platforms and festivals, and he regularly speak on the evolving relationship between literature, community, and digital culture. He is currently working on his debut novel.
