Chika Ikogwe is an award-winning Nigerian born Actor and Writer.

As an Actor, Chika has worked extensively in the industry and can be seen in the Emmy-award winning television series Heartbreak High on Netflix, ABC's Mikki vs the World, and feature film Land of Bad alongside Russell Crowe.

Most recently on stage, Chika played the lead role of Cleo in the highly acclaimed sold out season of Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner(dir. Shari Sebbens & Zindzi Okenyo). She was also in Fangirls (dir. Paige Rattray), Dance Nation (dir. Imara Savage) & The Wolves (dir. Jessica Arthur).

As a writer, Chika has written for Stan, the ABC, and has a number of original upcoming works in development, including TV series Just Chidi Things, which will be executive produced by Rose Byrne, Joy, the Musical! in collaboration with Mischief Media & Every Cloud Productions, and Ogechi's Salon in collaboration with Beyond Entertainment.

Chika was the recipient of the 2018 BBM Youth Support Award in Drama, the 2018 Leslie Walford AM Award, winner of Best Newcomer at the Sydney Theatre Awards in 2019, recipient of the 2020 ATYP Rose Byrne Emerging Female Leader in the Arts scholarship and recipient of 2022 The Glorias Award.

She has a deep passion for equity and representation, and strives to bring authentic Afrocentric stories to the forefront of Australian stages and screens.
