Chris Williams

Chris wrote these poems during the seventies, when he was an owner-driver.  After working the Sydney night run as a copyboy for the Sun, he started writing for his own amusement while trucking around Sydney, interstate and finally buying his own rig.  Chris has also worked as a driving examiner and Sydney bus driver, including Sydney Explorers and the Olympic Park Village transit.  Now retired, Chris has published short stories based on his poems, and written for Truckin Life magazine and the ‘Big Wheels’ section of the Telegraph.
