Involved in the writing, production, recording, mixing and releasing of approximately 40 albums. Four books – It Is Written, Baby (1997) – 1001 Australian Nights (2011) – WORKSHY (2018) and THERE HE GOES WITH HIS EYE OUT – Lyrics 1980–2023 (2023). Presenter of BLB, a weekly show focussed on contemporary Australian music on Melbourne’s Triple R FM since 2008. Nominated at the 2018 OZFLIX awards for best original soundtrack (with Clare Moore) for the Donna McRae film, LOST GULLY ROAD. Graney and Moore also scored the film Johnny Ghost for Donna as well as Robert Gibson’s Death Of A Chook, the short film RAY for Tony Mahony and multiple ABC arts documentaries.

Feted as Melbourne Music Legends by City of Yarra/Leaps and Bounds Festival in 2015. A concert given with a cavalcade of Melbourne musicians young and vintage playing Dave Graney and Clare Moore songs.

Voted Best Live Act by readers of Fairfax for the Age EG Music Awards 2011.
