Haider Catan

Haider Catan (1983), a poet and translator, grew up in Iraq, his home. Now, he is a PhD student of Psychology at the the University of Wollongong, where he resides. He came to the poetic field as an eager amateur, joining the South Coast Writer's Centre and reading at their Rocket Readings. Haider enriched his experience of poetry & writing in English by working with Wollongong poet Tim Heffernan. 

Haider Catan has worked with The Red Room Company to translate poetry to English for the Lyrikline project.
