Izzy Roberts-Orr

Izzy Roberts-Orr is a poet, writer, broadcaster and arts worker based on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country in regional Victoria. Formerly Artistic Director and Co-CEO of the Emerging and Digital Writers’ Festivals, and a Co-Director of the National Young Writers’ Festival, she is Creative Producer at Red Room Poetry.

Her debut poetry collection, Raw Salt, is published by Vagabond Press, and was the recipient of a Bundanon Artist Residency, Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship and Shortlisted for the Colorado Prize for Poetry. Her manuscript in progress, Medusa is a Modern Woman, is the recipient of a 2024 Varuna Pitch Me! Fellowship.

Her poetry has been widely published and anthologised, and she has spoken, performed and created commissions for a wide range of festivals around the world. She regularly teaches poetry workshops and masterclasses in her local community.
