Lesley Walter

Lesley Walter is a widely published Australia poet. She has published two books of poetry: watermelon baby (Five Islands Press 2000), and Life Drawings (Walleah Press 2014). In 2004 she was awarded the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize. Lesley's poem, 'Mammaries', was included in the Troubadours project and the New and Selected Summer Series. She was also awarded the Dame Leonie Kramer Prize for Australian Poetry from the University of Sydney.
