Poetic Reflection

When I think of what poetry means to me, I think of being more alive. I like poets that are musical, conversational, magical, stoically romantic… Marc Bolan, Bukowski, Lorca, Jack Gilbert. For me poetry is the same as song and prayer. It rises from within and seeks to connect with others - some kinda secret language we never knew we shared.
