Noelia Ramón

Noelia Ramón is a Spanish–Australian poet, journalist, photographer and video artist whose practice moves between the lyrical and the visual, exploring how image and words shape the way we see and feel.

Born in the Canary Islands (Spain) and based on Gadigal Country, she began her career in TV news and documentary filmmaking before expanding into poetry, creative production and narrative work.

She finds poetry in the ordinary, capturing the beauty of human experience and everyday life, turning small moments into meditations on presence and belonging. Her writing is reflective, rich in sensory texture, combining precision with tenderness to reveal meaning in the smallest details.

Her debut collection, The Man in the Photograph (5 Islands Press, 2025), brings together verse, photography and design in a visual–poetic journey through Sydney’s streets and inner worlds. Noelia continues to deepen the connection between language, imagery and storytelling.
