Penny Drysdale

Penny Drysdale is a poet who works on social justice and cultural projects in Central Australia. She is currently Manager of the Akeyulerre Healing Centre, established by Arrernte Elders as place to practice and celebrate culture and pass it on to the next generations.  Penny’s poems appear in various journals and magazines and she is currently working on her first collection of poetry.  Penny won the NT Literary Awards Poetry Prize in 2015 and was a finalist in 2011 and 2012.
