Rebecca Moran

Rebecca Moran is a researcher, writer, artist, and educator. She was mentored by UK poets Kate Fox and Andy Willoughby for the Ekzuban poetry project The Wilds, has featured twice in the Perth Poetry Festival, and won the 2024 Henry Lawson Poetry Prize with her poem Every Drop. Rebecca has had creative work published in Creatrix and the Journal of Imaginary Research, as well as numerous academic publications, films, and other creative outputs. Rebecca determinedly brings lived experience of madness and distress to all of her work, galvanised by the belief that engagement with lived experience has value for pursuing change in harmful systems.
