Sandra Selig
Sandra was born in Sydney, 1972 and currently lives and works as an artist and studio tutor (QUT) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In 2022 a major monograph on Sandra's artwork spanning the past 20 years was published by the University of Sunshine Coast, as part of her exhibition Exploring Giant Molecules, at University of Sunshine Coast Gallery, University of NSW Galleries (2022) and Northsite Contemporary Arts, Cairns (2023). Other solo exhibitions include: Organ Notes, Sarah Cottier Gallery Sydney (2022); Drawing in Time Floes, Milani Gallery, Brisbane (2020). Some of her recent group exhibitions include: ARTIST POET POIESIS, Milani Gallery, Brisbane (2023); Meet the Artists, Queensland State Library, Brisbane (2023); 8 Artists, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2023); The National: New Australian Art, Art Gallery of New South Wales (2019). She has also performed in major music and sound events in her duo Primitive Motion (with Leighton Craig) and more recently as a solo performer.
