Let us fly

Let us fly then you and I
Let us fly then you and I
Let us fly you and I across the distance of an old sky
across the cradle of a cold sky
and I'm a calling
and I'm a calling at the stars above to come out
I'm a breathing with my tongue out
taste the dew that put the sun out
and my wings are arms
and my arms are wings
are these wings here spread out
spread out
spread out
spread out the evening like a table
drag my shadow where I'm able
free the moon from out her stable
and we'll ride now
and we'll ride now
through the shrouds of the clouds
with the lightness of a nighthawk at our side now
we're leaving right now
so call my name and come with me
so call my name and come with me
with me
break your shackles with a freaky flight of fantasy
find your wings in a trippy poet's panoply
I pick you up with a line of loving energy
into your chest
drumming out my base tones
into your flesh
sends a tremour through your hip bones
with my caress
And I return to return
all your kisses by the handful
all your loving like a landfill
I bring a planet to a standstill
make a moon moan
to impress
And for these dreams on a wild wing
I feel blessed.
