Crimson light guides us
Into the darkening skys
Where
Spirit Emu lay
Gawarrgay Dinnawan lay
In the southern sky. Time time
The smell of gidgee floats on
A breeze. As its done since time
Yellow blossoms fill the land
With love
Gidgee flower

Starlight shine shadows down
On the dark brown earth
Earth
“Dhaymaarr”
Sun rise first light hits
The ground with a smile.
Big skys cockatoo’s cry
