Zafty

Zafty is an 18 year old Nigerian-born rapper from Melbourne, with a style that's been compared to the likes of J. Cole and Redveil. He released 11 singles in 2023; his talent being quickly recognised by the Triple J team who described his entry as spreading "like wildfire,” earning him a spot on their 2023 Unearthed High Yearbook with the “Most underrated flow award.”

Zafty has received extensive Triple J support, with regular airplay, features on the “triple j New Music Hitlist” and “triple j Unearthed Best New Music” playlists, and a rotation add for his song “M.I.A.” In 2024, he was a finalist in the Triple J Unearthed High competition, selected as one of 5 from 1,127 young artists nationwide. Additionally, Zafty won the Triple J Unearthed competition for a slot on the WA leg of Wildlands Festival, occurring in early 2025.
