Brick Wall

Frustrated lil’ boy that’s always frowning.
Out of place in school, couldn’t stop yawning.
So in year 8 I bypass school nearly every morning.
I was in a race, everyone around me slowing
Me down. Fat pockets, time for some clowning around.
Didn’t go home for days, busy counter-hopping. I’m down
Mum broken-hearted, I was a full time Clown.
Missed all the warning signs, can’t stop me now
Proud + loud, no telling me now, I’m too tall
Reality hits when I’m behind a steal door
Got to make the call:
“Sorry Mum”. I ran into a brick wall.
