Never again will I see,
The secret cove beneath the trees,
With each swaying branch and leaf
A song calls to me,

Search further than what you’ve seen,
But for the misplaced sand at the edge of the creek,
Duck under bridge and over rock,
A hidden treasure for you and me,

Never again will I see,
The sweeping gum tree fallen from time,
Hanging over the water’s edge,
A nice seat for you and me,

Again I hope to see,
Beyond the confines of my walls,
Follow the rushing rapids,
To the cove I share with all.
