Beauty Assembles Once Again

Fire flickered, fire snicked,
Alarms have been triggered.
Fire, bursting out in laughter,
Six months after…
New delicate leaves, as soft as a baby’s skin,
Is fire looking back on all of its sins?
Bright, berry blue colours fill the sky,
Keep on growing plants, don’t be shy.
Joyful petals open, proud,
The trees are no longer screaming loud.
Tweet, tweet, the birds are all chirping,
We know fire is now not lurking.
Trees are emeralds,
The forest has reassembled.
Fire is a liar,
Not a beautiful world that we would desire.
Seen, smelt, felt,
The sight would make you melt.
Fire has helped new life pull through,
But remember, it can hurt you too.
