Begin Again

Its metal slowly began to rust
Watching all alone
Like the moon, lonely in outer space
And so its mind began to roam
What went wrong in the past?
How will the future compare?
Did it do something amiss?
It was one single prayer
With that, light began to gather near
It was in a place it hardly recognised
And it looked up
With steel eyes
Confused at first
It looked around
And smiled hearing
That symphonic sound
The start of the inevitable end
Exactly the wish it made
When it was just like the moon, lonely in outer-space
Its only desire
To begin again
