It's a chilly one this winter
With a temperature of ten
Although it's warm in the classroom
I shiver as I hold my pen

There's frost on the oval
At the park next door
When I try to walk past it
It's hard to ignore

I want to cuddle up
With a blanket on my bed
Or lie down on the heater
With hand warmers over my head

I'm trying not to complain
About the cold, frozen weather
But although it's warm inside
I'm falling like a feather
