Endangered Land

I'm not even going to try to tell you

The effect it has on me   

That has all been done before 

Yet you still don't see

So, I'll put it in your perspective

In your own, greedy eyes

So you could see how you would feel

If I were you and you were I

Bulldozers come crushing 

Everything you know

And tears come gushing

As you have to let it all go

Friends and family flee

From their forever home

And that is when you know

That you are all alone

This is what happens,

To my home up in the sky 

And while you keep destroying it

I must try to survive
