Glittering

Glittering
In the moonlight
Shining and softly sparkling
It sits, still and silent
Small enough to hold in the palm of your hand
Yet it possesses its own power
Glowing
Crests like mountains
Valleys as deep as the unexplored depths of the sea
Carved by nature
Shimmering
Glimmering
Wild
Natural
Pure
Sometimes I wonder
Where it came from, how it found me
Shades of blue
Violet
Lavender
Stay with me
Until my dying day
My special amethyst.
