Left now as a memory in a photo album
Her silky white fur was as elegant as a daisy,
Her shiny black eye patch extended her looks to the fullest.
Every time I open the cage they remind me of her,
Running toward me waiting for their fresh, sweet grass.
My very first guinea pig, Gordie, who showed me how precious guinea pigs are
She had beautiful white fur that glimmered in the sun,
With a gorgeous V shaped in the middle of her forehead.
Without her I couldn’t have lived a happier childhood.
She was like a living lawnmower, munching the food constantly.
She has started my love for guinea pigs
My feelings for her are beyond love itself,
She was my best friend and could never be replaced.
I now have seven amazing guinea pigs.
And hope I give them a life just as good as Gordie's.
From the games we played to the special moments we shared,
My thoughts now lay with her, as her spirit lives on
From that piggie under the Christmas tree,
To a beautiful memory in my heart.
