Although you live half a world away,
This part of you is always with me.
This ring shines brighter then a full moon,
Sparkling like the rings of Saturn.
Golden swirls encase a mighty jewel,
A ruby red rose.
The colours of this jewel remind me of home,
Of London's red buses and telephone boxes.
Despite you being there,
And me being here,
This ring has kept memories alive.
So I will treasure this beautiful ring,
And when I pass to Isabel it should be gifted.
