His Watch

Every day I wonder about him
Wondering why it had to be him
Reminiscing how he gifted me you
He was in pain shaking bad I hoped it never happened
But I guess it was his time, time to leave
I wished he stayed to be with us again
He said “don’t cry” and that I would always have a part of him
Still shaking he gave me you
Then he stopped shaking
He passed away and we were crying our hearts out
I remember saying “I will miss you uncle”
