I am part of the forest,
I am part of the earth,
I creep into your mind,
When you hear forest.
I dance in the wind
On a mid autumn afternoon.
My bark is bumpy,
As bumpy as a grandma's hand.
I am big,
I am tall,
Your every breath
Is because of me,
But yet you cut me down,
You chop me up,
You pull of my leaves,
You kill me,
Inside and out.
I too have feelings,
I too can talk.
But do I chop you down?
