In the Rainforest

Trees swishing in the wind,

Thump, trees falling.

Bam!

Thunder striking on trees,

Pitter patter rain falling on the treetops.

Croak, croak, frogs calling to their families.

Flash!

Beautiful strikes of lightning,

Boom!

More thunder coming from the grey-black sky.

FLASH!

Even more lightning,

Thud, one more tree falling.

Swish!

Trees moving at the pace of the wind.

Drip, the rain stops.

Boom, the thunder stops.

Flash, the lighting stops.

Croak, the frogs find their families.

And for the first time today the sun comes out.
