Memories

Sparkly, silver, circular with
Glittering pink wings,
A ring at one end,
But holes in the other.
Pearlish pink, like pale, rose petals
Protecting, wavering hearts.
Once, passed away,
But came back to life.
Similar, to a ruler's length,
Is a snake, coiled around my wrist.
And the centre, the size, of the hole,
Of your hand, making the ok sign.
Thin, with a little bulge, about 24 centimetres,
Like a small, lump of metal.
With smooth features, and at parts, bumpy,
Tastes, like metallic and leather.
Places scraped, and places scratched,
Leaving scars, everywhere.
Sweat marks, on both the wings,
Like my godmother.
