My Blanket
By Heidi M
I’ve had it since I was born,
Ripped stained and torn,
Worth its money, it’s a blanket well-worn,
While holding I feel safe,
Still in my cupboard not chucked away,
Folded neatly and as blue as the sky,
If lost or broken I would cry
