My Bracelet

A priceless piece of work,
A part of my body
Now lost waiting to be found
It holds a special memory
It reminds me of someone important
One of my relatives but now I can’t
Because now it’s gone.
I still remember its shiny surface,
Reflecting the blazing sun. My name written on the front,
I still remember how cold it felt,
The cold I felt on my skin
Made me remember it was on my wrist
Time to time
But now I can’t feel that special cold because it is now gone.
Every time it comes to mind
I remember Turkey,
My relatives, the fun, the food, the culture,
But now that reminder is now gone.
I never knew that it could be that precious
That it could hold more than I remember,
But the more I try to remember the
More memories come back creating an image in my mind, but sadly it has disappeared somewhere,
Now gone.
