I open life as it wraps me up in smooth sheets of sand
Black ink imprinted into the white waves waiting to be ridden
My fingers slide onto the beginning of something new
Secrets leaping out of hidden shells
Urging me onto lands unknown
The dull shore being washed away with every tide
Emotions bursting from each word
Like a tropical coconut cracking to reveal only the sweetest of juices
Thoughts swept away by the warm summer breeze
Suddenly, clouds emerge, blocking the sunshine struggling to get through
Huge rips start to form as I am forced to cling on to the rocking boat
Drowning
My eyes suddenly snap open
Rubbing the edge of the flaky paper, I violently turn the page
What happens to me next?
