My Loving Teddy Bear

A teddy that I received
From my family, when I was born.
Which lead me to believe
That I was very much adorned

Notes that are from family
Always mean more than anything else.
Even though you have small ears,
I felt that you were and are such a good listener.
You were given to me by my family,
The writing on you are all words of love.

Although your appearance may be small
And pointless to other people,
You have a big part in my life and heart.

You got me though all the tough times such as keeping me safe from all my nightmares,
Staying by my side when there was a thunder and lightning storm.
My parents bringing you out to deal with and stop all my tantrums.

So now when I see you I will remember all that you’ve been through.
