My sister has a seed in her mind
Will it become a tree
Mistaken for a plant
Then suddenly will burst from the pot
Upsetting the pansies in theirs
Will it become a plant
Unclaimed
Will it wilt and die
Or will it become a bush
Uncared
Will squash the blueberries on the scrub
And pluck the carrots from their patch
My sister has a seed in her mind
Will it control her love
Wrapping around the berries on the mulberry bush
Deciding to thorrle or become bait for the birds
Will it control her anger
Deciding when to swamp all the water out of the dirt
To kill the other trees
Or will it control her happiness
Snatching at the mice
Trying to carry blackberries too big for them
