A red and black quartered footy
Bouncing off the walls,
A jingling sound ringing throughout the halls,
I’m a die-hard Saints fan gripping it tight,
I’ve had it since birth when I learnt to kick it like a kite,
A rattling bell at the ball’s core,
Keeps the heartbreaking losses and great victories I’ve endured,
St Kilda logos and writing sewn into the polyester,
I’m sure I’ll have this ball forever,
I love this ball it’s so special to me,
Because my blood bleeds red, white and black.
