Pepper

I have a little kitten
All day I keep her by my side
Her name is pepper and I am her guide
My kitten is a toy
She gives me a lot of joy

She is black with a white belly
I like to feed her jelly
Pink ears, pink toes and pink at the tip of her tail
At night we watch TV about people going to jail

One night I went to bed
Pepper and her friends fall asleep near my head
I was dreaming about her
And heard a loud purr

Just then I felt a tat tat on my hand
My toys were playing in a band
Pepper was standing in front of me
I said to myself "gee"

All night we danced and had fun
Until we saw the sun
Once again she was a toy
