Droplets dash down the shrivelled leaf,
Teetering on the edge ready to fall,
Leaving a slim trail.
Drips from the dangling leaf,
Catching the only sun ray in the sky,
A kaleidoscope of colour,
Fleeting
Flirtatious
Fulfilling.
Joy and freedom abound,
Challenges vanish.
Petite droplets soak into the soil,
Discovering crevices,
Discovering plastic.
Planet earth is weeping.
