Revive

Throughout my life the tree has grown,
Taller and stronger as it has shown,
It is the oldest thing I know apart from the memories it has created,
Because the memories linger long after the tree has disintegrated,

It has seen my whole life, the whole past of mine,
So why don’t we connect with it, I think you will find the results divine,
Every second of our life it gives to us,
But what do we give back, fumes from a bus,

It is a part of our planet, it does more than you think,
So now open your eyes to a new perspective in just one blink,
We need to act now, it’s now or never,
Because once it’s gone it’s gone forever,

How can we solve this problem and preserve our planet?
We need to cooperate together and start a new habit,
Stop polluting this world and cutting down trees,
Become eco-friendly, this is our last chance – please?

Everyone needs to contribute for humanity to survive,
And it could start with you, go out there and help our Earth revive
